Big News (Part 2)

Christopher is home!!!

It's a Nice Day.......

It's been about 4 months since my last post.....I truly do apologize to those of you who check this blog regularly.

And by those of you, I mean my mom.

I really haven't had anything that I've wanted to share with the world. But now, I have news. Big news......

My best friend is getting married!!

And I am so excited for her. She has been given a wonderful man and I can honestly say that I have never seen two people so perfect for each other. Cliche, I know, but it's the truth. And I've been lucky enough to be a part of many steps in this process. I helped pick out the ring, was there after the proposal, and today went wedding and bridesmaid dress shopping. We discussed things like tafetta and organza and who looks best in a sweetheart neckline and whether ivory or white would be better.

I'm exhausted.

And just for the record, here are my wedding stats:

Number of times as a bridesmaid - 7
Number of times as a maid of honor - 3

That's right folks, I believe I have paid my wedding dues. Ever heard the expression, "always a bridesmaid....?" You know the rest. I am living proof that someone very wise penned that phrase. But, I'm really not complaining. Or at least I'm trying not to. I have to wonder though, will the next dress I purchase be sage, wine, lilac.......or white?
